Patrick Paine is a Brooklyn-based artist with a material driven practice. His work includes pottery, hard edge geometric sculpture, drawings, and sculptural installations. He taken inspiration from architectural geometry, lunar phenomena, and modern literature. His technical background includes working with ceramics, woodworking, graphic design, digital fabrication, and sculpture. Most recently his work was included in the Summer Invitational II at the White Rock Center for Sculptural Arts in Holmes, NY organized and curated by artists Courtney Puckett and Colin O’con. Paine currently works as a Project Manager at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and works from his studio in Brooklyn embedded with LEERFORM Fabrication and Design.
